Office Holiday Parties Bring Up More than Just Morale

An article on Huffington Post states that according to AshleyMadison.com, a site for married people looking to cheat on their spouses, you should be skeptical about letting your spouse go to their office holiday party alone.

A survey of 23,455 people with accounts on AshleyMadison.com says:

46.1% of men and 37.4% of women have cheated with a co-worker.

Out of these reported cheaters, 59.8% of men and 72.2% of women say that the affair started

at an office holiday party.

89.1% of men and 83.2% of women have THOUGHT about having an extramarital affair with a co-worker.

94.7% of men and 96.3% of women have confessed to fantasizing about a co-worker.

These parties “offer an informal atmosphere, and when mixed with alcohol and pent-up sexual tensions between two colleagues, it’s a recipe for disaster,” says Noel Biderman, Ashley Madison’s CEO.
