Asphia Natasha of New York was traveling on the Belt Parkway in Queens, NY last month when another vehicle cut her off, causing her to slam on her brakes. She narrowly avoided a crash, however, the other driver put the car in reverse and slammed into the front of Natasha’s vehicle. Little did they know, Natasha had a dash cam that caught the entire incident on video.
ABC 7 New York writes, “in the incident video, the backseat passengers can be seen trying to put a covering on the back window as the driver climbs over into the front passenger seat before getting out of the car and pretending to be injured,” and “Everyone who was in the car then got out and started to take pictures and videos of the damage.”
The best part? You can visibly see when the occupants of the vehicle notice the dash cam, and realize their efforts were thwarted.
“They were rushing to leave. They were like, well, we have to go. We have to go pick up our baby. And so basically when I turned around to go check on the car, they just, like, got in their car and left,” said Natasha.
