Men: Creatures of Habit & Predictable in Terms of Infidelity

Men tend to be creatures of habit and rather predictable to a fault, especially in terms of infidelity. That’s good news if you want to be able to detect infidelity, and according to Joe Amoia, a dating coach who wrote “3 Ways to Identify a Cheater” on Huffington Post Divorce, here are three concrete ways to identify if he’s going to be a cheater:

1. He’s secretive. A man that has issues revealing basically ANYTHING about his life, is probably leading a double one. A cheater has only one thing to hang on to, and that’s his ability to keep his mouth shut. As long as no one knows his whereabouts and details to his life, how can he ever be discovered?

According to Amoia, “Communication and the willingness to be an open book are two of the most important indicators of a happy and successful relationship. And if a guy is keeping secrets in the beginning, look out because you are headed for trouble.”

2. He’s selfish. Selfish men typically don’t have a problem showing it, because it carries into every aspect of their lives. Good for you, girls. You have an easy way to remove yourself before the situation gets serious. Selfish men thrive off of what others can do for them, and if you notice this type of behavior, remove yourself from that situation, fast.

3. Sudden change in behavior. Changes in behavior can range from their physical appearance, “working longer hours”, sudden business trips. But according to Amoia, “the most common sign is when your sex life decreases, and he shows less of an interest in you in the bedroom.”
